12-year-old said pain 'feels like my heart is being ripped out through my neck'
A mother in Milwaukee at a news conference hosted by Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., broke down crying as she told how her active and healthy 12-year-old daughter had become wheelchair-bound after participating in a COVID-19 vaccine trial. Stephanie de Garay of Ohio, said Monday her daughter, Maddie de Garay, received a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine on Jan. 20 as a participant in the clinical trial for 12-15 year-olds. She said all three children participated in the trial and were excited to do it as a way of helping everyone "return to normal." LINK TO ARTICLE > Comments are closed.
